The plan

Day by day.

  1. Day 1
    Durban → St Lucia

    Drive north on the N2 to St Lucia, gateway to the UNESCO-listed iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Lunch at the St Lucia Ski Boat Club, check into Amazulu Lodge. Afternoon Hippo & Croc Boat Cruise on the estuary.

  2. Day 2
    Cape Vidal → Bayala

    Game drive north to Cape Vidal. Beachfront picnic breakfast, then snorkelling on the reef. Transfer inland to Bayala Private Game Reserve — light lunch, pool time, then a sunset open-vehicle Big Five drive and dinner under the stars.

  3. Day 3
    Bayala · Full Safari Day

    Dawn game drive with a coffee stop deep in the bush. Gourmet breakfast, lodge downtime or optional bush walk. Sunset drive, then a three-course dinner paired with regional wines.

  4. Day 4
    Bayete Zulu → Depart

    Final morning drive or slow breakfast. Transfer to Bayete Zulu Lodge for the Elephant Interaction — meet Rambo and the herd — then journey home.
